The war rages on in Ukraine!
The Krasnopillya hospice (in the Sumy region) supports palliative (incurably ill, seriosly ill) patients by delivering home care.
Each month they provide around 100 home care visits, 20-30 of them are by telehospice care as many patients are in remote villages.
They needed a cardiograph because there are accompanying cardiac conditions including high blood pressure. There are younger patients with cancer (25-30 years old) who have also cardio-vascular illnesses. Althogether, there are around 40% patients wiht these problems that need to be controlled. Thanks to this appeal we were able to provide them with this equipment to help determine the extent of their illness and to proved reassurance along with medicines, food, blankets, and nappies for the children.
War has no compassion when it comes to harming those with serious illness, all are a risk. There is no end in sight even for those with the most serious illness. Please be generous and continue to help these essential services in Ukraine!
