We’re excited to share a heartwarming update from Darayya — made possible by your support!
In September, the training for 14 women participants was successfully completed, empowering them to start their own home-based mushroom cultivation projects to sustain their families.
During the program, the women learned every step of the process — from safe cultivation and harvesting to proper preservation techniques like drying, brining, and refrigeration.
At the end of the training, each participant received a complete startup kit, including mushroom spores, substrate, sprayers, bags, sanitizers, and containers for storage — everything they need to start growing at home.
We’re thrilled to share that these women have already begun producing mushrooms in their own homes!
Next, they’ll take part in a bazaar and exhibition in Darayya in October, where they will showcase their products, connect with local markets, and begin earning an income to support their families.
Your donation didn’t just provide materials — it planted seeds of dignity, resilience, and hope.
Thank you for making this beautiful transformation possible.
With gratitude,
