We extend our sincere gratitude for your continued commitment to protecting vulnerable communities. Your support made it possible for Freedom Jasmine Organization to implement a comprehensive Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness initiative in Jisr al-Shughur and the surrounding camp areas—reaching 2,000 beneficiaries, including women, men, and adolescents.
Through your generosity, our outreach team successfully delivered a series of six structured awareness sessions for each group, focusing on:
Understanding the concept and forms of GBV
Prevention and safer community behaviors
Protection pathways and available support services
The sessions were designed to be interactive, culturally sensitive, and accessible to the most vulnerable populations—whether inside the city or in nearby camps.
Participants also received awareness brochures, certificates of attendance, and small symbolic gifts as encouragement for completing the full cycle.
Thanks to your support, this initiative has strengthened protection mechanisms within the community and empowered individuals to recognize, prevent, and respond to GBV risks.
