Warmth Restored in Rural Damascus - Thank You for Standing With These Families

By Yasmina | Project Leader

Dear Supporter,

Because of your generous support, families in rural Damascus are now facing winter with warmth instead of uncertainty.

The Freedom Jasmine Organization (FJO) team successfully distributed dozens of heating stoves and winter blankets to some of the most vulnerable households — widows, orphaned families, mothers of the missing, and women-led households struggling to rebuild their lives.

Many of these families were previously displaced to northern Syria. After enduring years of instability, they returned to their hometowns only to find homes damaged, not fully rehabilitated, and unprepared for harsh winter conditions.

The economic situation remains extremely challenging. For these women and their children, purchasing a heating stove or even sufficient blankets is simply beyond their means.

Your generosity made a direct and tangible difference.

Each stove provided warmth and protection.
Each blanket offered comfort and security during cold nights.

But beyond winter relief, this initiative reflects something deeper — empowerment.

By supporting women-led households, you are strengthening mothers who carry the full responsibility of their families. You are helping children grow in safer, warmer environments. You are contributing to resilience and long-term stability in communities working to rebuild their lives.

Because of you, homes that once felt cold and fragile now hold renewed warmth and hope.

On behalf of every family reached through this initiative, thank you for your compassion and continued trust in The Freedom Jasmine Organization (FJO).

With sincere appreciation,
