Dear Supporter,
Over nine days and 32 hours of intensive training, a group of women in Daraya completed Freedom Jasmine’s Protection Training of Trainers program — and the results show just how much changed.
At the end of the program, all participants completed post-training assessments. Their average scores increased from 8.19 to 11.58 out of 15, representing a 22.6% overall improvement.
The strongest progress was seen in key areas including:
These women entered the program as committed volunteers. They completed it better equipped to become trainers themselves — ready to share protection knowledge and practical skills within the communities and organizations where they serve.
The journey was not without challenges. Some sessions needed more time, attendance varied, and the summer heat made long training days more difficult.
But the participants remained committed.
They learned, practiced, improved, and completed the program with stronger knowledge and greater capacity to support others.
This is what sustainable local impact looks like: building skills within communities so knowledge continues to spread long after the training ends.
Thank you for helping make this work possible.
