Dear Valued Supporter,
Thanks to your support, 25 women in Daraya returned for a second practical session focused on one essential question:
What can a family of a missing person actually do next?
Step by step, participants learned how to navigate key legal procedures, including filing a police report, appointing a legal guardian, opening an inheritance file, and understanding the court process.
The session was designed to make complex procedures clear and practical — so a woman can enter an office knowing what to ask for, what documents matter, and what steps come next.
The discussion quickly expanded to other urgent concerns: property rights, unregistered children, and marriages conducted outside official systems. The questions continued, and each one received careful guidance.
A final survey was also collected to support the program’s research and future advocacy.
Your contributions are helping women turn uncertainty into knowledge and knowledge into action.
Thank you for making this work possible. With your continued support, more women can gain the information and confidence they need to protect their families, their rights, and their future.
With gratitude,
