Dear Valued Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, 19 women in Daraya came together for a powerful session built around one important truth:
Justice is not charity.
For many participants, this was the first time they clearly understood the difference between receiving humanitarian assistance and claiming a legal right.
Aid may be given because someone is in need. But reparations and legal entitlements are rights that can still be claimed—regardless of hardship, time passed, or who holds power.
That understanding changed something important.
Women who may have once felt they were simply asking for help began to see that they also have the right to seek justice, recognition, and accountability.
Private consultations were also made available to women who wanted to discuss their individual cases in a safe and confidential setting.
Your contribution helped create this space for knowledge, confidence, and dignity.
Thank you for standing with women as they learn their rights, strengthen their voices, and take meaningful steps toward justice.
With deep gratitude,
Thank you for helping women understand that justice is not something they must beg for—it is something they have the right to pursue.
