On June 24 in Daraya, 22 women joined a legal awareness session focused on reparations—but this was not a theoretical discussion.
Many of the women were already dealing with legal cases of their own.
That reality shaped the entire session.
Instead of broad introductory questions, participants came prepared with specific concerns about how reparations could apply to their individual circumstances. The discussion therefore moved quickly from basic concepts into practical application, allowing women to better understand the options, procedures, and rights relevant to their cases.
After the group session, individual consultations were provided to women with active legal matters, giving them space to discuss their situations more privately and receive tailored guidance.
