Dear Valued Donor,
The following day, on June 25 in Daraya, the same 22 women returned for the second session—this time with a practical focus on what happens after someone decides to pursue a legal case.
The session walked participants through the process step by step, from filing an initial report to the possibility of reaching a court ruling.
Women learned what to expect at each stage, what obstacles may arise, and where they can seek support if a case becomes delayed or complicated.
The session also emphasized simple but important practices: keep records, preserve copies of documents, and seek legal support as early as possible.
By the end, participants were not only more aware of their rights—they had a clearer understanding of how to move forward.
A final survey was also collected to help assess the value of the sessions and strengthen future programming.
Your support helps turn legal knowledge into practical guidance that women can use in real situations.
Thank you for helping women in Daraya navigate complex legal processes with greater clarity, confidence, and access to support.
With sincere appreciation,
