Fundacion Bomberos: We all have a Hero in our Blood

By Rocio Rebagliati | International Community Referent

Fundación Bomberos Argentina focuses its efforts on creating a safer and more resilient community. Together with volunteer firefighters from all over the country, it promotes safety practices and carries out awareness campaigns to prevent risks in the community.

Thanks to the work we have put in our last Campaign, Fundación Bomberos has been able to provide assistance to 48 associations of Volunteer Firefighters of the province of Corrientes and continue to multiply equipment collaboration in the following provinces that have also been affected by forest fires: Córdoba, Tucumán, Entre Ríos, Buenos Aires, Catamarca, Chaco, and San Luis.

As part of the Heroes of Fundación Bomberos Program, and with support provided by Ministerio de Salud de la Nación, we designed the initiative "We all have a Hero in our Blood”. It´s main goal was to promote regular voluntary blood donation by carrying out external blood collections located in the different barracks throughout the country.

On February 9th, 2022, Volunteer Firefighters from Cerrito (Entre Ríos) carried out the campaign together with Fundación Bomberos Argentina. The collection of blood was held in the Mirna Teresita Perottino Cultural Hall, in Plaza Las Colonias. We are pleased to announce more than 30 donors participated in the initiative.

Within the framework of the annual meeting of the Foundation's Board of Directors, the renewal of authorities was carried out. As always, they have assumed the responsibility of maintaining and promoting hard work and have committed to respecting our fundamental values.

It is with pure conviction that we continue to say our commitment and devotion have saved lives and will continue to do so.

All this progress would not be possible without your generous and thoughtful support. Thanks to you, we continue to build our foundation stronger and stronger to carry out our project and protect people´s homes.

From the bottom of our hearts: thank you.

Mensajeros de la Paz’s Team.
