Help Ugandan People Donate Life Saving Blood

Whisper transfused 2,089 anemic patients

Blood is a lifesaving fluid a liquid gold in Uganda.

In 2019 Whisper transfused 2089 patients, these are the stories about some of transfused patients:

LITTLE RESTY AND MALARIA

This five years old girl was suffering from malaria. She came to the hospital unconscious with high fevers and very anemic.

She immediately received 3 units of blood and antimalaric treatment.

Next day she woke up and after three days she was running up and down the hospital, playing and having fun with other kids happy and healthy.

BABY PATIENCE AND SICLE CELL DISEASE

Patience is a known sickle cell patient and frequent visitor to our hospital. She is under care of one of the NGOs working with kids in villages and these social workers usually bring her with severe anemia for blood transfusion.

However she is often in life treating condition she never looses smile and she enjoys every minute in our beautiful hospital

BEATRICE AND LAST MINUTE TRASFUSION

Beatrice came with her desperate parents in the middle of the night. They traveled from hospital to hospital looking for compatible blood for their daughter.

Luckily they came to Whispers just in time. Beatrice got one unit of blood right away and we managed to get one more unit from another hospital to save Beatrices life.

Thanks to you there is always enough blood for every patient in need. This would not be possible without your help and support
