Greetings our beloved donors,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our esteemed donors for the support towards our projects especially this of saving anaemic children and mothers in the Eastern region and Uganda at large.
This has been able through donating blood which we usually do while carrying out blood donation campaigns. These campaigns are usually arranged here at our hospital and we do massive awareness to the community as well as to all our staff and we motivate them to donate by supporting them with biscuits and soft drinks.
We are running a free sickle cell clinic that happens every wednesday at our hospital. The last 3 months we have been able to transfuse over 600 patients in paediatric unit.
With your donations, we have been able to support them in so many different ways and this has helped us save lives of many innocent ugandans in the region and Uganda at large.
Also since we opened up our sickle cell clinic like six months back, we have had a good turn up of patients in need of blood because the sickle cell patients are transfused oftenly. which is an alert that we have to have blood in our blood bank in order to save more lives.
We appreciate you so much for your generous donation towards this project. Your donation will help save many lives of anaemic children and mothers in Uganda.
