During the autumn months, the Repair Together team carried out reconstruction works in de-occupied villages of the Chernihiv region. Key achievements included full external insulation and plastering of one house, construction of a new veranda to serve as a future boiler room for another, and the pouring of concrete floors in three additional houses—laying essential foundations for warmth, safety, and long-term recovery.
By the end of November, the onset of winter conditions brought the 2025 construction season to a close. Tools were secured, unfinished structures carefully protected, and works temporarily paused for the winter period.
This pause marks not an ending, but a transition. In April 2026, the international construction camp will return, bringing together volunteers from multiple countries to complete interior works in seven houses and support families on their path back home.
We sincerely thank all donors, partners, and supporters whose contributions made this work possible. Your support directly helps restore safe housing and dignity to families affected by the war. As the Repair Together team prepares for the next phase of construction, continued donations are crucial to completing these homes and expanding our impact. Together, we can ensure that more families are able to return home and rebuild their everyday lives.
