A support of $200 each for 50 unemployed youths and women in Ikorodu, Nigeria; will help to start a piggery farm, dressmaking outfit, cassava mill, poultry farm and fish farm. This is based on their vocational interest and skill acquired from our prescribed training for them.
There is a huge unemployment rate in our community and country at large. This has resulted into high rate of crime wave among youths, promiscuity, disruption of family values and inadequate parental care in our community.
The project will give a new focus to the youths and women. Engage them for a positive and profitable venture. Reduce poverty and gradually eliminate crime among them as they earn a legitimate living.
They shall have capacity to create further wealth and opportunity (ies) for others, as employer of labour. They shall be able to promote peace and good family values in the community. They shall become good role models to other youths and contribute to GDP growth of the country.
