Dear Friend,
Syria is rising from the rubble. Families are coming home after years of displacement, and for the first time in a long time, there is hope on the horizon.
But returning home doesn't mean life is easy again. Entire neighborhoods were destroyed. Homes, schools, clinics—all gone. Families are starting from nothing, rebuilding with their hands and whatever they can find.
Your support helps turn that rubble into homes. We're repairing shelters, providing essential household items, and helping families get back on their feet. Thanks to your donations, our team has been working to restore parts of the electrical grid in affected communities. Thousands are now back on the grid, enjoying the comfort and ease of having electricity in their homes again—something so many of us take for granted.
We've attached photos of our team at work, bringing light back to families who have been in darkness for far too long.
Every step forward is a step toward normalcy and dignity. Syria still needs us. The road to recovery is long, but with your continued support, families can finally rebuild their lives—and their country.
With gratitude and hope,
The Smile Givers International Team
