Dear donors and supporters,
As we announced in our previous report, we celebrated the Múcura Award this year, witn a special support from Wetland Link International, and it happened during the Muyso Festival we held on past 27th of March, at the Xieti Nature Reserve.
This year's contest was related to painting school murals, related to a relevant local bird species and its habitat, in which three schools took part, all of them awarded with the Múcura Award for certain virtues in their drawings and efforts. Behind this initiative was a continuation of a science-knowledge transmision, from the Hidro-Aves Tota project
Please find attached their diplomas, alondside their murals. Each school received its own prize, and an outstanding kid from each school (chosen by their teacher and school mates) also received a special recognition: the Muyso Game, with a set of cards related to the water cycle and high Andean ecosystems, as a special contribution from the 'Ruta del Agua' project.
Thank you all for your support, it does make a difference and allow us to continue with this initiative!
With gratitude,
Felipe Velasco
