Pedagogical experience: Promoting the autonomy
In this month we promote the autonomy with the biggest ones. They showed us their development skills eating by themselves and dominating the glass to drink alone. In addition, through the sensory massages, textures, sounds and aromas, promoting problem solving skills through experiences with simple problems.
The children of the Maternity Room worked different recovered materials, promoting the necessary visual-motor coordination for the development of the graphic production. In addition, they developed a series of mental records about the characteristics of objects, through sensory exploration.
We have successfully completed our "identity" project, through which the children learned about their personal identity, the identity of the material, as well as the identity of the children's center. Together with the children and their families we build a "sensory path", which will be part of the outdoor space of the children's center and which will help to enhance the development of sensorimotor skills in each of the children.
