Support Mental Health for Terror Attack Survivors

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

Thank you for supporting this project to provide mental health care for survivors of terror attacks in Nigeria. Your support helps victims access counseling, therapy, and community-based support, enabling them to rebuild their lives with dignity and resilience.

Survivors often experience trauma, anxiety, and depression, yet access to trained mental health professionals is scarce. Without support, many struggle with daily life, social isolation, and returning to work or school, while families and communities face long-term psychological impacts.

This project provides financial support for professional counseling, therapy sessions, and safe community support groups. Survivors will also receive educational materials on coping strategies, helping them manage trauma and regain stability. By funding these services, we ensure victims have the tools to heal and rebuild their lives.

Over time, access to mental health care will improve emotional well-being, strengthen family and community resilience, and prevent intergenerational trauma. Survivors can resume education, employment, and social participation, contributing to healthier and safer communities.

At this stage, donations received are not sufficient to launch the project, but with your continued support, we can provide vital mental health services to those who need it most.

With thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
