Wheelchairs for Autistic Children in Nigeria

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

Thank you for supporting this project to provide wheelchairs for 50 vulnerable autistic children in Nigeria. Your support can give these children the mobility and independence they need to participate more fully in daily life, education, and social activities.

Many autistic children in Nigeria lack access to essential mobility aids, limiting their ability to move freely, attend school, and engage with their communities. Families often cannot afford wheelchairs, leaving children dependent, isolated, and unable to reach their full potential.

This project will supply wheelchairs to children in need, enabling them to navigate daily activities, access education, and take part in social events. By removing physical barriers, the project improves their independence, development, and overall quality of life, while offering families critical support.

Over time, access to mobility aids will empower autistic children to participate more actively in society and gain greater self-confidence. The project will also raise awareness about the needs of autistic children, promoting inclusion and stronger support systems in communities.

At this stage, donations received are not yet sufficient to begin implementation. With continued support, we can ensure these children gain the mobility and opportunities they deserve.

With thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
