Dear friends and supporters,
Words can’t quite express how much your compassion means to all of us at Jóvenes de Puerto Rico en Riesgo Inc. Thank you for all your support!
We want to let you know that with our Caney (Academic Support Center and Safe Space) we continue provides academic support through supervised homework, tasks, tutoring, individualized support, study plans and educational workshops to at-risk youth students.
In the past three months we attended more than 50 students (including our four centers ubicated in San Juan, Naguabo, Juncos and Canóvanas). Also over 12 teacher are participated in our activities in our Caney.
We are so happy with the achieves that we have's in the more recently months and we want to share it with you! In our different center we have more than 93% of school retention. Also, in our center in Naguabo we have a 12.53% and in Juncos we have 17% of improved in academic progress.
Let's celebrate that these students have not dropped out of school, stay study and had improve in academic progress. Thank you for all your support!
