While we strive to bring hope and comfort during treatment, the heartbreaking reality is that not all battles are won. When a child passes away, the immense grief is often compounded by the unexpected and overwhelming financial burden of funeral expenses.
Our association has been fulfilling dreams for 15 years, the number of children has increased at high levels (30%) this year and we need financial support to be able to continue fulfilling dreams for our children.
Alleviating Financial Burden: The primary problem highlighted is the unexpected and overwhelming cost of funeral expenses for families who have lost a child to cancer. with the funds needed to give each grieving family $1500. This direct financial assistance helps cover the basic costs of a funeral, easing a significant burden during an incredibly difficult time.
