We cannot imagine the pain

By Asma Rao | Head of Marketing and Resource Mobilization

Before Treatment
Before Treatment

In our hearts, we all like to think we can understand what someone is going through when he or she is not able to walk, not able to reach out and open the windows or simply take a stroll in a starry night. What it feels to be denied the simple pleasures of life is simply unimaginable – the more we try to understand the more we will fail to see the immense immeasurable pain someone on a wheelchair goes through every day.

The picture you see is of young Abdullah who was destined to spend his life in wheelchair and didn’t foresee anything that could change his current predicament but only after a few months of treatmentat ACF he has started walking and getting better day by day

Arthritis Care Foundation (ACF) is working in collaboration with Fatima Memorial Hospital Lahore and serving many patients who cannot afford the treatment expenses.

If ACF had not provided this treatment, he would have not been able to walk; this has only been possible through the support of generous donors. Fatima Memorial Hospital hopes to continue its noble mission.

This has only been possible through the generous support of donors like you which enables us to continue with our mission.

The disease can strike at any time and without proper care can lead to severe disabilities affecting patients for a lifetime. However, today through earlydiagnosis and extensive treatment Rheumatologists can significantly help prevent disability and death in patients suffering from rheumatic diseases.

These stories give us hope and the strength to continue with our mission.

Please donate today and change lives.
