Hello Friends,
Fatima Memorial Hospital is continuously striving to employ the latest technology and research to create a future without arthritis. Your donations have a tremendous impact on the lives of millions of people and children who live with arthritis which is one of the major causes of disability.
Pakistan faces a shortage of qualified rheumatologists – for a population of 190 million there is only a handful of rheumatologists available. And FMH is lucky to have a team of top rheumatology consultants. Many patients are undergoing treatment under their supervision and recovering well.
On 12th Oct’12, Fatima Memorial Hospital (FMH) College of Medicine & Dentistry organized a walk Arthritis Walk to mark World Arthritis Day. The walk was a step to create awareness about the disease with an aim to mark solidarity with millions of people living with arthritis all over the world. The ceremony was inaugurated by Ms. Ayesha, who due to rheumatoid arthritis was unable to walk. With the help of on-time diagnosis and treatment she is recovering well and is a ray of hope for many others who suffer from the disease.
With your continuous support, they’ll walk again!
