I wanted to write and say thank you again for your donations that are helping vulnerable children here in Sihanoukville that M’Lop Tapang works with.
Because of your generosity, children like 10-year old Lavouch* is going to school for the first time ever. From an early age his parents noticed that the young boy had difficulty learning and were always afraid to send him to school because they were concerned that he would have problems with the other children and get into fights. Instead of going to school Lavouch stayed at home by himself and his dog while his parents went to work. Last month Lavouch joined a designated class at our Education Center for children with learning and behavioral problems. His teachers report that there have not been any problems with other children in the class, his parents are very happy for him to be finally starting school, and Lavouch is making new friends. Your gifts have helped us to provide emergency shelter, medical care, sports and arts, education and training, counseling, family support and protection from abuse for thousands of disadvantaged children and their families and I am very happy to share M’Lop Tapang’s 2016 Annual Report with you that explains how in a little more detail . There is a link to the report at the bottom of this letter.
Again, from all of us at M’Lop Tapang, thank you so very much for your support. As always, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email me at: info@mloptapang.org
All the best,
Eve Saosarin
