Outing for our kids

Kids playing at Snow Land in Pattaya

Hello everybody!

Greetings from Thailand to you all. I hope that you are enjoying a great summer at home. Here in Thailand, the kids have to go to school throughout the summer time, as in Thailand the school holidays are in March/April and October. Actually, while most kids in the west are having a nice time, the kids here are facing exams in the next week...

Today, I want to report briefly about a special day that our kids had at the end of June. The Hands of Hope Foundation from the US visited us with a team and took all the kids with their mothers to the just opened snow land here in Pattaya. None of the kids had ever seen snow and had never been exposed to cold weather but most of them really got into it, played in the snow, used the slides and enjoyed the time. I write most, because one little girl just could not stand the cold got scared by the snow as well. She is only four years old, but she was crying the whole time and as nobody was able to get her to play, she got also really cold... But as soon as we were out and at KFC for lunch, she was back to her normal smiley shelf.

This day was a huge blessing to everybody and the kids and parents are still talking about.

Thank you for supporting our children and making a difference in their life’s. I am not just saying this, but last week I had one of our mothers in my office. She had saved all the child sponsorship money from the last months and was now very proud that she could send the money to her home village so that her daughter could purchase some urgent things needed for school. Another mother came to me and I refunded her for the things that she had bought for her daughter. I could see how happy she was to receive that monthly gift. Your money is making a huge difference in the life of the kids and their mothers.

Thank you for this!
