"The “baby flowers” are so beautiful" says María, a five-year old girl when she sees the first thyme blossoms she planted herself. María and other children from CRAN have started an orchard together with some students of Santa Ana School in Bogotá. They have used hand-painted recycled bottles to plant spices and herbs. And they have started to blossom!!!
Santa Ana’s students explain to the children the many benefits they can get from the plants and their main uses.
According to Pilar, the teacher from our institutional home, the orchard is part of the therapeutic process of the children since it gives them tools for live and teaches them about the importance of the ethics of taking care: taking care of oneself and of others, of things that are common property and of the environment.
Thanks to your generosity and solidarity our children can get hold of the elements required to participate in educative activities which represent an alternative to academic scholastic tasks. Thanks to you in CRAN we can guarantee our children a protective, nutritious and caregiver environment that will allow them to develop their full potential whilst recovering their right to being part of a loving family.
Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts!!

¡Sembrando vida y esperanza!
