[Abajo puedes leer la versión en español].

Hello! We are very happy because we were one of the winners of the GlobalGiving 2015 Photo Contest. We achieved it thanks to your votes and your support to encourage your friends to vote for our photo. Thank you!!

With this report, we also want to thank you and all our dear friends who support us with your donations at GlobalGiving, because you are real heroes who make possible to rewrite the stories of our children with smiles, opportunities and happy endings.

Friends like Pamela Aviles, a lawyer and volunteer who worked with 20 children of CRAN in a workshop of creation of stories.

Children started the activities by choosing a book that called their attention and, from there, they identified: title, location, story and characters.

Some of the titles of the stories created by the children were: Farm chicks, The dancing girls, The big book of dinosaurs, The history of the great Elmo, The girl with no belly button, Pirates vs. thieves. Most of the characters created were princesses, animals, pirates and dinosaurs.

For Pamela, the children “are special for many reasons, but what I like the most is their authenticity, they love, hug, smile and act sincerely".

"The young ones are very sweet and loving, care for each other and play like they were siblings. The bigger ones are very sincere, they are excited to see you, hope you to come back and thank you for everything and sometimes make such deep questions for their age that left me speechless", she adds.

"It is a life experience, I've become more sympathetic, tolerant, grateful and more aware of what is happening in the society".

Just like Pamela, you make the stories of our children to have happy endings with a family who loves and take care of them for a lifetime. Thanks a lot for transforming lives!

¡Hola!
