Meet The Children

SHARE NGO was established for purposes of improving lives of vulnerable children, adolescent girls and youth skills for self reliance.. Our NGO implements the following programs; Early Childhood Development, Culture, Arts and Sports, Child Protection and Rights, Health, Water and Sanitation Food Security and Nutrition, Adolescent girls and Young women and Disability Inclusion’s

The NGO is also asking for Child Sponsors,

Martha

Date of birth: 19.Oct.2015

Martha lives with her single mother and grandparents and with one young brother. The mother is the bread winner at home, meeting the needs of the grandparents and the children. The mother is a small holder farmer with growing everything for home consumption and whatever remains is what she sells to earning a living to support children at school.

Due to low income earning usually Martha misses school due to lack of school fees. Martha is very smart in class and loves school very much with a big dream of becoming a doctor.  Martha can realize her dream with support to access Quality education to escape the scourge of poverty. Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Martha with Quality education, healthcare and improve the community.

 

Ochago

Date of Birth: 5/March /2018.

Ochago, lives with her mother and grandmother. He lost his Dad to a motor accident. His mother remarried to a widower Mr. Isale 28 year old who struggles to provide for the family. His new father is a small holder farmers. Despite their efforts it is difficult to meet the family’s needs. Ochago is growing up in a poor area in Ajuket Village, Kumi District in Eastern Uganda. A typical diet consists of cassava, maize, sweet potatoes, beans, and vegetables. She loves learning and Music and dancing. Ochago is very cleaver boy that loves studies, unfortunately the parents cannot afford to keep him in school. Your sponsorship commitment will help provide him with with a secure hope in Education.

 

 

Racheal

Date of Birth: 03.Sept.2014

Racheal lives with her parents and 4 siblings. Her parents struggle to provide for the family. Her father is a farmer and his mother is unemployed. Despite their efforts, it is difficult to meet the family’s needs.

Racheal is growing up in a poverty stricken Village. HIV and AIDS crisis has severely damaged the social fabric of the entire community, leaving many children without parents. Many families live in small mud brick homes with tin or thatched roofs. A typical diet consists of cassava, maize, sweet potatoes, beans, and vegetables.  She helps at home by gathering firewood. She likes to play ball games. She is in satisfactory health.

Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Racheal and his community with improved access to Quality education and healthcare services.

 

Benna

Date of birth: 14.Aug.2014

Benna lives with both parents and with two young sisters. Both of the parents acquired half of the formal education due to financial hardships in their respective families, and the same cycle is following their family of not being able to support all their children to meet their future dreams. The mother managed to become a teacher but earning very little to support the family yet the father in unemployed. Precious has a future dream of becoming a lawyer and she can only realize this dream with a Good support to attain her future dream. She is very smart in class and well disciplined. It’s no doubt that once supported to where she desires to reach in education and other aspects of life, she can be a very important person in future. It’s from this small background that justifies why Benna needs a sponsor so as to break the poverty cycle in the family and realize her dream as a girl child for the betterment of her future.

 

Martin

Date of birth: 14. June. 2015

Martin lives with his parents and 2 sisters. His parents struggle to provide for the family. His father is a farmer and his mother is unemployed. Despite their efforts, it is difficult to meet the family’s needs.

Martin is growing up in Ajuket Village, Kumi District in Eastern Uganda.  Many families live in small mud brick homes with tin or thatched roofs.

He helps at home by gathering firewood. He likes to play ball games. He is in satisfactory health.

Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Ben and his community with improved access to Quality education and healthcare services.

 

 

Grace

Date of Birth: 20.8.2009

Grace was abandoned by her parents at two months with grandmother. She was left in family with a very troubled background. The grandmother who takes care of her also takes care of her other two siblings. Her husband and 12 of her children died during the kony LRA war. Only one son remained but he is mentally unstable and currently in mental rehabilitation. The grandmother takes care of the grandchildren but she had a motorcycle accident and her hip bones and hand were seriously injured. She barely able to move and cannot provide for the children. She also cannot afford medical care. Currently both the children and the grandmother are completely depending on community support because they don‘t have any food or anything else to provide for themselves. They own a small house but no land   to grow food. None of the children go to school and the grandmother is uncertain how much longer she is to remain on this world. There is no other extended family to help them, they are completely by themselves. This family has urgent needs for someone to take care of both the children and the grandmother. So when you come out to support Grace we feel very happy and blessed.

 

 

Sandra

Date of Birth: 21. August. 2007

Sandra was born in the remote village in the Eastern part of Uganda living with her single grandmother. She has never seen her father since birth and not ever single support from him, He simply abandoned her mum after birth and run away from his responsibility. Her grandmother is now very old with no support and it’s Sandra who takes care of the family. Sandra loves school and performing arts and she has a dream of travelling the world through her performing arts talent. And also a dream of becoming doctor especially if given the opportunity to study. The best way for Sandra to escape the absolute poverty which has taken over the entire family and achieve her big dream is through Education which is the best solution to poverty. Your faithful sponsorship commitment will be of great help to support Sandra’s Education and improve her general wellbeing and have brighter future.

 

 

 

Simon

Date of Birth: 23.Oct.2010

Simon is ever a jolly boy in whatever situation and always very active in primary with passion for Education and Arts. He has a dream of becoming a teacher. He lives with both parents and 8 siblings. His father struggles to educate all the children with much love and respect for all his children. Unfortunately his mother is unemployed and the father is torn apart to get tuition for all the children to be in school, yet he is a small holder farmer and he survives on loans to educate his children.

Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Simon and his community with improved access to Quality education and healthcare services as well as training reaching his future dream. Your faithful support will also provide quality performing arts skills to Simon to reach his Godly given talent.

 

Isaac

Date of birth: 25. Oct. 2009

Isaac lives with her mother Lydia and 4 siblings. Her mother has never gone to school and so is the father. The mother is the head of the family and bread winner without support from the father of the children. She works every day at local Clinic as a cleaner and she earns $5 to provide her family needs, medical care, educate her children, shelter and food. She works so hard to see to it that all her children achieve and meet their dreams and they do not also live in the cycle of poverty like the parents. Isaac likes dancing and is very bright in Class. Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Isaac with education and also improve the wellbeing of her community to escape the poverty cycle.

 

 

Lillian

Date of Birth: 15.Dec.2009

Lillian is a smart girl with my love for school with a dream of becoming a Police woman. She likes making toy cars out of banana fibers which she plays with her age mates in the neighborhood, enjoys  dancing, eating rice and beans as his best dish. Her family relies on peasantry life whereby they grow food crops like rice as the major food crop, maize, beans, which they survive on throughout the year. However, these are only for home consumption as the yields are not enough for sale too hence making it difficult to provide all the basic needs. She has missed school for two year due to lack of support.

Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Lillian with education and also improve the wellbeing of her community.

 

Esther

Date of Birth: 26.May.2008

Esther is a bright with my love for school with a dream of becoming a doctor to treat others.. She, enjoys  dancing, eating rice and beans as his best dish. His family relies on peasantry life whereby they grow food crops like rice as the major food crop, maize, beans, which they survive on throughout the year. However, these are only for home consumption as the yields are not enough for sale too hence making it difficult to provide all the basic needs for the siblings. This is also contributed by low income of approximately 10 dollars in a month which does not cover all the needs. This is a bit challenging to the family to provide for all the basic needs in a home. Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Esther with education and also improve the wellbeing of her community.

 

 

 

Cyrus

Date of Birth: 5.Oct.2005

Cyrus is a very clever young boy in Senior two with passion for Computer, performing arts and Education. He has a dream of becoming an engineer. He lives with both parents and 8 siblings. His father struggles to educate all the children with much love and respect for all his children. Unfortunately his mother is unemployed and the father is torn apart to get tuition for all the children to be in school, yet he is a small holder farmer and he survives on loans to educate his children.

Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Cyrus and his community with improved access to Quality education and healthcare services as well as training reaching his future dream. Your faithful support will also provide quality performing arts skills to Cyrus to reach his Godly given talent.

 

 

Jacob

Date of Birthday: 4.August.2013

Jacob is from Northern Uganda living with both parents. They live in one small room with parents and two brothers. His father is a casual laborer struggling to support the family since the mother is a house wife without employment.  Isaac is a very bright boy with a dream of becoming a medical doctor in future. He needs much support to realize his dream and escape the cyclic poverty and after effects of the Kony LRA War that dismantled their family economic and educational opportunities. Isaac is one person who love performing arts with all his heart and he practices daily to be good at it. He helps at home by tethering watering vegetables which they sell to get food for the entire household.

Jonathan

Date of birth: 26.FEB.2009

Jonathan lives with grandmother. The grandmother struggles to provide for the family but now she is aged and getting weaker every single day. Despite the grandmother’s efforts, it is difficult to meet the family’s needs and support the grand children`s education..

Jonathan is in primary school and his favorite subject is Science. He helps at home by gathering firewood and fetching water on daily basis before going to school. He loves performing Arts as something he would do on a daily basis. He is in satisfactory health.

Your sponsorship commitment will help provide Jonathan and his community with improved access to clean quality education and healthcare services as well as nutrition.

 

Rose

Date of Birth: 7/Dec/2009

Rose lives with her single mother and her three sisters. The mother is the bread winner at home, meeting all needs of her children without the support of the father. The mother walks door to door washing clothes for people to raise money to put food on the plates of her four children, house rent, clothing, Health and education for her children.

Due to low income earning usually Rose misses school with her three sisters due to lack of school fees. Rose is very smart in class and loves school very much with a big dream of becoming a doctor. Rose can realize her dream with support to access Quality education to escape the scourge of poverty.
