An event for the benefit of the elderly!

On October 1st. the 3rd fundraising event of Mensajeros de la Paz Argentina was held. It was carried out within the framework of the "International Day of the Elderly".

Older people have always played an important role in society as leaders and custodians of tradition. However, they are also very vulnerable, and many fall into poverty, become disabled or suffer discrimination. As medical care improves, the population of older people is growing, as are their needs and, of course, their contributions to the world.

The "International Day of the Elderly" is a perfect occasion to highlight the important contributions that our elders make to society and raise awareness about the opportunities and challenges of aging in today's world.

It was an event where we gathered more than 200 people to honor this population and tell about the work we do from the organization. The special assitant where the elederly adults participans of our programs, who came and together with volunteers, sponsor companies, donors and employees had a great party and enjoy the night!

The funds raised will be destined to continue strengthening adult programs. Currently, there are more than 100 older adults who are part of our centers.
