March is a very important month for La Balsa Center. In addition to going back to school, we honored International Women´s Day. Thanks to your uninterested help, we´ve been able to accompany the girls in the start of the new school year, cover all their material and emotional needs, and provide woman, gender and equality courses and seminars during the entire month.
We are also excited to share with you some great news about our project, "Temporary Home for Girls at Social Risk in Arg" at La Balsa center. We have been selected to participate in Lightful's BRIDGE programme, which will guide us in building our digital capacity with a gender perspective over the next 6 months. This is a significant step towards increasing the visibility of our project, which is a key element in our efforts to support cis and trans girls and adolescents who have experienced rights violations.
The personalized training and feedback that we will receive from Lightful professionals will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goals. We are grateful to the GlobalGiving team for giving us the chance to participate in this program and for supporting our project.
We´ll soon be sharing our latest achievements regarding a new project on the topic of gender equality as we keep focusing our efforts on helping young girls and women in need. Stay tuned for future updates!
Thanks again for all your collaboration. We´ll keep counting on you!
