Thanks to your generous support, Development Alert is reaching elderly people living in vulnerable rural communities in Tororo District with essential household support and other basic necessities.
For many older people, limited income, physical challenges, and dependence on family members make it difficult to meet everyday needs. Through this intervention, we are supporting 200 elderly community members with carefully prioritized basic necessities while identifying households facing the greatest hardship.
Beyond the material assistance, our visits provide an opportunity to listen to older people, understand their challenges, and remind them that they are valued members of the community.
Your generosity is helping restore dignity, reduce hardship, and bring hope to elderly people who might otherwise be overlooked.
