Your support is helping Development Alert respond to food insecurity among vulnerable elderly people in rural Tororo.
We are on a mission to support 200 elderly community members who face difficulties securing adequate food because of poverty, limited household income, reduced ability to work, and dependence on relatives.
Through community-based outreach, we are identifying households experiencing the greatest food-related challenges and providing basic food assistance where resources allow. These interventions are especially meaningful for elderly people living alone or in households with very limited resources.
A food package may seem simple, but for an elderly person struggling to get through the week, it can provide immediate relief and reassurance.
Your kindness is helping ensure that vulnerable older people are not forgotten.
