In the Hospital Classroom of our Children's Hospital San Vicente Foundation, the protagonists are children, in a space full of color, joys and toys, all patients who are hospitalized can access a different space that provides emotional rehabilitation for them and cognitive during its process or treatment to any disease.
Jackeline and Paula are the two specialist teachers, who work on the articulation of pedagogical proposals that allow the stay of small patients to be enjoyable, educational and reflected in their quality of life. All these proposals are evaluated in order to meet the needs not only of children, but also of their families, and so that there is an apprenticeship not only for the moment but also throughout life.
All patients who attend the Classroom, consider this as their favorite moment in the day, because there they can change their environment and think about things different from their illness, they also continue to stimulate their skills and the learning process during the time they stop attending to their schools, so as not to lose their love for learning.
At the Aula the teachers don't teach classes, different activities are done such as: learn to play musical instruments, read stories, sing, do crafts and scientific experiments, paint, play board games, among others. With your help, we can continue to keep our Classroom open and thus give many children the opportunity to let their imagination fly and have a complete recovery from the physical and the emotional.
