Jaqueline is an 8-year-old girl who was born in Amalfi, a municipality located in the northeast of Antioquia, Colombia. She is a girl full of qualities that differentiate her in every place she arrives. She is very cheerful and friendly, she likes to smile and show off her hair, she is very loving, dedicated and responsible with her academic activities.
This little girl has a disease called acute lymphoid leukemia, a type of hematologic and bone marrow cancer that affects the white blood cells in the body. It all started when, 3 years ago it was detected and that is why Gloria, her mother, decided to bring her to evaluations and treatments to our Children's Hospital.
Jaqueline is a very active girl and for this, she spends her days in the Hospital accompanied by the professors of the Hospital Classroom and affirms: “I love the teachers a lot, I like to play with my friends and play the piano, we also learn many songs”. His mother also highly appreciates the learning and recreation processes that take place in the Classroom and says that she is very grateful for the work done by all the people who work in the Hospital.
Our teachers work with children and know their health processes because from this we can make their stay and that of their families at the Children's Hospital San Vicente Fundacion, much more enjoyable.
With faith in God and the specialists of the Hospital, Gloria hopes that her daughter will continue to get ahead and continue to show her friends and her family that she is a very strong girl and that the joy with which she leads her life is the basis of your hope.
With your contributions, you allow more children like Jaqueline to access recreational and recreational spaces like these, in which happiness takes their hearts.
