Leonardo is a 7 year old boy who came to our emergency department after suffering an accident while he was at school playing with his classmates, due to the blow one of his kidneys was affected so he has inflammation, fever and constant pain.
Despite the situation, Leonardo is very happy in our Hospital and is grateful for the spaces that allow him to have fun and be in different environments while he continues his recovery, spaces like the hospital classroom give him access to toys, stories and activities with which he has fun and learns with his mom and other patients; enjoying his favorite hobby which is coloring.
Leonardo and his mother are very grateful for the attention they are receiving and are thankful for these spaces that make his stay in our Hospital more pleasant, trusting that soon he will be able to return home and continue with his school process in the best way.
With your donations you help us to continue providing recreational and learning spaces for our patients, allowing them to continue having fun while they recover.
