2022 was a great year in the Hospital classroom, thanks to you. From October to December, we created a form to plan multiple fun activities to celebrate Halloween and Christmas. There were more than 83 activities to bring happiness to 180 children who spent Christmas in our Hospital. With your support and other kind benefactors, we sang, played, and had Christmas decorations in all rooms in the Hospital. The first time our Hospital Classroom included activities for adults and senior patients.
Many memories are from this day, like the story of some of our patients. We want to acknowledge those who lived with Hirschsprung's which is a congenital disorder that affects the large intestine.
These pediatric patients found in the Hospital classroom a space to become a child again and forget his illness while listening to children's songs and playing with other kids with special conditions.
We believe in the power of small encounters through which we provide patients and companions with calm sensations and moments to favor skills and learning processes.
With your support, we continue to contribute so that more people like Luis have this joyful opportunity.
