Project Progress Report: Hospital for Burundian’s Charities – #64184

 

1. Introduction

 

The Hospital for Burundian’s Charities project was established with the aim of improving access to affordable and quality healthcare for vulnerable populations in Burundi. The project is community-driven and funded by charitable contributions, with a focus on sustainability, inclusion, and long-term social impact.

 

2. Objectives

 

To provide primary and specialized healthcare to low-income families.

 

To ensure maternal and child health services are accessible and safe.

 

To create employment opportunities for Burundian medical staff and support personnel.

 

To strengthen the local health system by introducing modern facilities and training programs.

 

 

3. Achievements So Far

 

Land & Infrastructure: A suitable site has been secured, and preliminary architectural designs are complete. Construction of the first ward has started.
