As Syria continues to recover from years of conflict and crisis, access to food remains a critical challenge for many families. The situation becomes even more difficult during Ramadan, when fasting from dawn to dusk increases the need for nutritious meals at sunset.
Throughout the holy month, YEÇED worked tirelessly to provide hot iftar meals to vulnerable individuals in northern Syria, including displaced families and children living in camps. These meals offered not only physical nourishment, but also a sense of spiritual comfort and communal dignity during a sacred time.
This project was designed as a Ramadan-specific intervention, tailored to meet the seasonal and spiritual needs of families fasting during this holy month. Although this Ramadan project has ended, YEÇED remains active in Syria through other ongoing initiatives.
We thank you for your support and invite you to continue walking with us on this journey of hope and resilience.
