Happy Ramadan Project is a kindness initiative in Turkiye that aims to strengthen children's connection to Ramadan traditions. Throughout the month, we distribute small gift packages to children who attend Tarawih (night) prayers at local mosques, helping them experience the joy, belonging, and spiritual beauty of Ramadan.
During Ramadan, much of the focus naturally centers on adult worship and community gatherings. Although many children attend Tarawih prayers, their experience may not always feel engaging or meaningful to them. Without age-appropriate encouragement and inclusion, children can find it difficult to fully connect with the spiritual atmosphere and values of Ramadan.
During Ramadan, we prepare and distribute small, thoughtfully designed gift packages to children attending Tarawih prayers. These gifts include treats and encouraging messages that reflect the values of kindness and gratitude. By reaching children directly at mosques, we help create a welcoming and joyful Ramadan experience.
