The “Educate 200 Street Children in South Sudan” project aimed to improve access to quality education and child protection services for vulnerable street-connected children in Juba City, many of whom had dropped out of school due to poverty, displacement, family breakdown, and ongoing insecurity. Through an integrated approach, the project provided accelerated learning programs, psychosocial support, school materials, life skills training, and family reintegration services to 200 children, helping them transition from street life into safe and supportive learning environments.
Despite operating in a fragile humanitarian context characterized by limited resources, economic hardship, and protection risks, the project successfully restored hope, dignity, and learning opportunities for highly marginalized children. As a result, many beneficiaries were enrolled in formal schools or vocational training centers, improved their self-esteem and social skills, and demonstrated increased motivation to pursue education and a better future.
