Hello from all of us at M’Lop Tapang in Sihanoukville!
Our Non-Formal Education program (NFE) had its busiest year yet in 2025. A total of 810 children and youth attended classes, up from 651 in 2023.
NFE is for children who have never been to school, or who have been out of school for a long time. Our teachers use a curriculum developed with the Sihanoukville Department of Education to help them catch up and prepare for public school. Over the year, 351 new students enrolled, and 73 moved on to public school.
NFE students start the day with breakfast and eat a hot lunch at midday. The meals help them concentrate and take part in their lessons.
More students means more meals. The increase has made classroom space and resources tighter, and your support helps our kitchen keep up as the program grows.
Thank you for keeping these students fed while they learn.

With much gratitude,
