Hello from Cambodia.

I wanted to write and thank you again for your generous donations to M’Lop Tapang that are helping us to provide hot meals to hundreds of disadvantaged Cambodian children and youth.

Your gifts are helping children like 8 year old Sinat* who entered a classroom for the very first time recently. Born into a very poor family (her father is a fisherman and her mother fixes fishing nets down by the port) Sinat’s parents could not afford to send her to study. The little girl is one of the newest children to join hundreds of others in M’Lop Tapang’s “Bridging Program”, a program that helps children who have never been to school catch up with their studies so that they can be reintegrated into local public schools with confidence.

As part of the program Sinat receives transport to and from her house to our Education Center, health care, structured learning activities, the chance to have fun and interact with other children, as well as a hot lunch. Although not very fancy, the hot meals Sinat and the other children receive are healthy and very tasty. For most of the children it is the most substantial meal they will have all day.

From all of us here at M’Lop Tapang, thank you again for your generosity.

Sincerely,
Eve Saosarin
