Hotline services for Refugees in Bulgaria

The Foundation for Access to Rights - FAR Hotline is a unique tool to support people in need. By providing timely and reliable information in English, Russian, Ukrainian and Bulgarian, hotline staff support asylum seekers, refugees and migrants on a daily basis. In recent months, their work has been made possible and continues thanks to your generosity and giving hand. 

The availability of information and referral to the relevant service providers guarantee access to basic rights for migrants, asylum seekers, refugees and stateless persons in their day-to-day experience in Bulgaria. In the past months since May 2024, our hotline experts have helped more than 450 people in need by providing them with the information they need, referring them to a lawyer from our team to follow up their case or to the service provider they need. We believe in tailoring to the needs of our beneficiaries. That's why we've been actively developing our employment platform in recent months, and hotline staff are now referring those in need to our employment mediator as well.

This is another step towards empowering refugees and asylum seekers who need work to build their lives. They are people with talents, knowledge and experience!
