Hundreds of children in Sokoto sleep in homes with leaking roofs, broken walls, and unsafe floors. A safe home means safety, health, and dignity for a child. Elite Star Foundation will rehabilitate 400 homes for vulnerable families, improving roofs, walls, ventilation, and sanitation. This project will give children safe spaces to sleep, study, and grow while protecting their health and future.
Unsafe housing is putting children in danger in Sokoto. Many families live in weak structures with leaking roofs, cracked walls, and poor sanitation. During the rainy season, children sleep in damp rooms that increase disease and health risks. Parents lack the resources to repair their homes. Without support, thousands of children will continue living in unsafe environments that threaten their health and education.
Elite Star Foundation will rehabilitate 400 unsafe homes for families with children in Sokoto. Urgent repairs will include roof replacement, wall reinforcement, improved ventilation, and sanitation upgrades. Local artisans and community volunteers will carry out the work, ensuring efficiency and ownership. Safe housing will immediately protect children from weather, illness, and structural hazards.
A safe home changes a child's future. By rehabilitating 400 houses, this project will improve health, safety, and stability for thousands of children and caregivers. Families will live with dignity, and children will gain safe spaces to learn and grow. Stronger homes will also strengthen the resilience of entire communities in Sokoto.
