Summary

It will build a canteen to supply food to 3oo children in the commune 2 of the Municipality of Medellin, in decent conditions and consolidate an environmental culture to 60 mothers head of household through informal and productive educational processes for the generation of employment in the dining room and income with productive activities such as bakery, pastry shop in the cafe sustainability source of the environmentally sustainable dining room.

Challenge

For 2016-2028, 53.6% of the population has some type of food insecurity and 14.4% of households are in a severe situation, the theme takes up objective No.2 of the Sustainable Development Obj. revolves around ending hunger, achieving food security, and improving nutrition, 52.9% of Medellin's population are women, and 50.01% of households have women as heads of household The project seeks to reduce existing disparity gaps

Solution

Provide daily food that complements nutrition for 300 children living in families with problems of intrafamily violence, unemployment, addictions and poverty, generating employment for 60 mothers head of household in the canteen-bakery and coffee, addressing violence based on gender, women's human rights and childhood and consolidate environmental culture through informal educational processes.

Long-Term Impact

Safe and inclusive place for childhood through the promotion and execution of processes, resignifying people, which include lowering the multidimensional index of living conditions, extreme monetary poverty and multidimensional poverty, committing ourselves to the new model of social equity, and employment for you, with the protective factors of co-responsibility of some of the indicators that are within the development plan of "Medellin account with you 2016 - 2019",
