This project plans to provide 300 teen mother's with source of food for the mind and the body. We will provide mentoring to teen mothers. Additionally, we will give teen mother's rabbits and provid trainings on how to rear Rabbits successfully to yield profit.
Due to Covid 19, schools have closed. This has caused a lot of inactivity among teenagers because they don't have something to do. Moreover, there are high numbers of rape and sexual abuse on teenagers due to loss of jobs which has caused more people staying at home. Teenagers are losing hope for their future, since communities shun them.
Our project will provide mentoring to 300 teen mothers, to integrate them in the society and teach them sexual and reproductive health and how to cope with stigma they will face as teenagers in the society. Our project will also provide rabbits to these teen mothers. Rabbits will not only provide nutritious food these teen mothers, but also as a source of income from selling rabbit products.
300 teen mothers will be given capacity building and gain confidence which will help them in their daily lives. Additionally, these teen mothers will be given a lasting source of income and also learn business skills and reproductive health.
