For vulnerable children, the journey through school can be threatened by poverty and difficult family circumstances. Girls and boys who lack basic support may become increasingly vulnerable to absenteeism and eventually dropping out.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to address these challenges by combining education-focused support with practical skills development. We want children to see education as a pathway to opportunity while also giving them exposure to skills that can strengthen their future prospects.
Girls and boys can participate in practical learning areas including tailoring, sewing, meal fabrication, hairdressing, craft weaving, poultry keeping, modern farming, and entrepreneurship. These activities provide opportunities for young people to learn through practice, discover their abilities, and build confidence.
For girls, our goal includes equipping 20 vulnerable beneficiaries with sewing machines and supporting them with tailoring training. For boys and other girls, we seek to create access to a wider range of practical skills according to their interests and circumstances.
Donor contributions can help provide the tools, training materials, mentorship, and educational assistance needed to expand these opportunities.
