Help Sexual abuse survivors go back to school

Teenage pregnancy can bring significant emotional, social, and family challenges. Some young mothers may experience rejection, isolation, shame, anxiety, disrupted education, or uncertainty about their future. Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers seeks to provide supportive counselling and psychosocial services that help participants navigate these challenges.

F SSIBU can facilitate safe conversations with appropriately trained counsellors or refer young mothers to qualified professionals and relevant services when specialized care is needed. Group support sessions can also create opportunities for participants to share experiences and encourage one another in a respectful environment.

Donor support can help cover counselling coordination, transportation, community sessions, educational materials, referral support, and follow-up with vulnerable participants. This allows young mothers who may have limited resources to access supportive services.

The purpose is not to judge or define young mothers by their pregnancy. It is to create opportunities for them to be heard, supported, and encouraged as they rebuild their lives and care for their children.

For a young mother who feels isolated, knowing that someone is willing to listen can be an important step toward renewed confidence.
