Help Sexual abuse survivors go back to school

Becoming pregnant during adolescence can interrupt a girl's education and create barriers that make returning to learning difficult. Some young mothers lose confidence, face stigma, lack childcare support, or believe that their educational journey has permanently ended.

Through the Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers Program, F SSIBU Mission Foundation seeks to help teenage mothers explore pathways back into education, vocational training, or other structured learning opportunities suited to their circumstances.

Donor support can help provide educational guidance, learning materials, vocational training opportunities, mentorship, childcare-related support where appropriate, and follow-up with young mothers as they work toward their personal goals.

The program recognizes that every teenage mother has different circumstances. Some may be able to resume formal education, while others may benefit from vocational or practical skills training before considering further education. The goal is to help each participant identify a realistic pathway that strengthens her future prospects.

Education can restore more than academic opportunity. It can rebuild confidence, expand knowledge, increase access to opportunities, and help a young mother envision a future beyond the circumstances surrounding her pregnancy.
