Being abandoned should never be the end of a girl’s story.
For teenage girls who have experienced pregnancy, family rejection, or difficult circumstances, the road forward can feel uncertain. Many lack the financial resources, education, skills, and support needed to rebuild their lives.
Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers exists to help create that pathway forward.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation is equipping vulnerable girls and young mothers with practical skills that can open doors to livelihood opportunities. Training in tailoring, hairdressing, electrical skills, craft making, poultry, modern farming, and other practical areas can provide participants with tools they can build upon.
We combine this with mentorship, counselling, reproductive health education, psychosocial support, and family engagement because empowerment is strongest when practical skills are supported by knowledge, confidence, and a caring network.
Our goal is not to make young mothers dependent on continued assistance. It is to help them develop capabilities that can contribute to greater self-reliance and resilience.
This is where donor partnership becomes transformative.
A donor can help a girl access training she could never afford. Support can help provide equipment that allows her to practice her skills. Mentorship can help her recognize possibilities she may have stopped believing in.
The result we seek is not simply a trained girl, but a young woman with greater confidence, practical abilities, and a pathway toward supporting herself and her child.
From rejection to resilience. From vulnerability to capability. From uncertainty to opportunity.
With donors walking alongside us, Restored Hope can help more abandoned teenage girls rebuild their lives and create futures in which they and their children can move forward with dignity.
